News: see activities (in spanish only)
The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) is involved in activities planned for International Heliophysical Year in Spain. The different Divisions of the IAC (Director’s Office, OTRI, and Instrumentation and Science Divisions) are working together to prepare and perform a number of activities like:
- Open Doors Day (10th June 2007) at the solar telescopes of the Observatorio del Teide and the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos
- Production of a documentary about the Solar Wind
- Science outreach seminars and talks.
