This morning, Elsa López visited the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) headquarters, in La Laguna, accompained by researchers and engineers of the centre. The writer, born in La Palma, who collaborated on the project "En un lugar del Universo..." to mark the fourth centenary of the death of Cervantes, was enthusiastic about this visit, that values as "very inspiring". "I'm surprised to see a multidisciplinary team of people working to convert words and figures into the information that will allow us to understand how the Universe works." Her visit to the Teide Observatory, scheduled for this afternoon that has had to be canceled due to bad weather conditions, will be held soon.

Tomorrow, Tuesday at 10 am, Elsa will visit the Museo de la Ciencia y el Cosmos, of Museos de Tenerife.
