The audiovisual presentation, designed to be projected in domes and planetaria has been designed by CETA-CIEMAT, IAC, and Eurocosmos, as part of a scientific popularization programme financed by the FECYT

"Exploring the Solar System" makes available to the general public material which has previously been seen only through telescopes or via space probes; it will be distributed free of charge to any planetarium or projection theatre which asks for it.

"Exploring the Solar System" will be shown in the majority of the planetaria in Spain, both fixed and mobile, so that it will be seen by an estimated thirty thousand students in the coming months

In the CETA-CIEMAT planetarium situated in the ex-convent of San Francisco de Trujillo, headquarters of the Centre for Advanced Techology of Extremadura (CETA-CIEMAT) the first showing of the audiovisual presentation "Exploring the Solar System" will take place today. During the day there will be a succession of showings for schools and for the general public, and there will be a press conference for the media in which those who have contributed to the project will explain its details, and give out any additional information requested. This meeting, at which the local political authorities will be represented, will be chaired by Alberto Casero, the Mayor of Trujillo.
