Visits

Please see below for details of our visiting system.

  • Open Days 2013: June 21 and 22 are scheduled as Open Days.
  • Groups and individuals:
    • Visiting period: Visits take place between the months of April and December (a.i).
    • Visits at night are not permitted.
    • Minimum quota: Visits will only take place if there are a minimum of 15 people in the group, in which case the interested parties will be notified by e-mail or telephone.
    • Recommendations and notices for visitors (doc,pdf)
    • Application form: (before filling in the form, make sure that you know the conditions).
    • NOTICE TO VISITORS
      Scheduled visits will take place always and when weather conditions and the operation of the telescopes allow. Due to the existence of adverse weather conditions, especially during the winter, that may affect the safety of the Observatory entrances (snow, ice, and landslides), visits can be unexpectedly cancelled.

  • Mons Telescope: for the use of astronomy students and amateurs. If you would like to use the telescope during your visit please request this beforehand.
