General Information:
If you have just finished or you are already in the final stages of your degree (Engineering, Information Technology, Physics and Mathematics) you may apply for a summer scholarship to join one of the technology development groups at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) for the duration of the summer.
Dates: 1 July to 30 September.
Value of Scholarship: 700 € monthly plus a fixed travel allowance and health insurance.
Scholarship aim:to provide an opportunity to gain an introduction to the technological development processes for astrophysics instrumentation.

Work is carried out by interdisciplinary teams covering each of the specialist areas:
Facilities: At its headquarters in La Laguna, the IAC has all the infrastructures needed for research and development activities, like a library, workshops and laboratories (including Optical, Mechanics, Electronics and Technical Drawing) and IT Infrastrucure.
The IAC's international observatories in Tenerife (Observatorio del Teide) and La Palma (Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos) may be used for all technological work offered.
