How to get to the OT

The Observatorio del Teide is situated at an altitude of 2.390 m above sea level (Coordinates: Longitude: 16º 30´ 35" West - Latitude: 28º 18´ 00" North), in the zone of Izaña, on the Island of Tenerife (Spain).

Tenerife has two airports: Tenerife Norte (TFN), also known as “Los Rodeos” and  Tenerife Sur (TFS), known as Aeropuerto “Reina Sofía”. Taxis and car hire are available from both airports. There are also buses, although these do not run to the Observatory.
