OSIRIS - Images - Optics


The Camera Barrel Design of OSIRIS is designed and developed by the IA-UNAM (Instituto de Astronomía de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in collaboration with the IAC. The camera includes a set of eight lenses (three cemented doublets and two singlets) with its respectived suppors and cells. A image of the manufactured lenses can be seen at the right (click on the picture for a larger view).
