The objects of the project are focussed in the problems of wave front sensing and the experimental characterization of the atmosphere in the Teide Observatory (OT) for the Laser Guide Star (LGS).
With respect to the detection and recovery of the wave front, we set out to study numerical solutions to apply LGS in telescopes of 10 m. and, using measurements of the vertical turbulence profiles (G-SCIDAR in the TCS), to study the spatial and emission characteristics of a LGS generated with the Optical Ground Station (OGS); to study the influence of the vertical turbulence structure and conditions of the maximum efficiency to achieve the emission of the LGS; and additionally,

to obtain a temporal register of the vertical turbulence profile. As far as possible, these goals to the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (ORM) will extend.

On the other hand, within the framework of wave front sensing, we deal with the problem of the detection of the phase errors among the elements of segmented surfaces. We are specially centred in segmented mirrors of large telescopes, as it is the case of the Gran Telescopio de Canarias (GTC).
