De fuscis pusillis astris
et giganteis exoplanetis

Welcome

The project "Physics of Low Mass Stars, the Search and Characterization of Brown Dwarfs and Extrasolar Planets" (P06/95), is supported by the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, a centre for research, technological development and training of researchers, engineers and technicians located in the Canary Islands, Spain, in the middle of Atlantic Ocean.

The group is formed by nine researchers. We keep active collaborations with researchers in another nine institutes. Our aim is to search and characterize substellar objects, including brown dwarfs, isolated planetary mass objects (IPMOs) in clusters and the exoplanet candidates detected via Doppler, and to understand their formation and evolution. Our areas of interest can be found going back to our home and clicking the titles on the right of the image.

If you want to contact us, send an e-mail to: José Antonio Caballero.
