Usage (Note: See cautions of use at Tools page page)

  • OTELO setup;
    • Red (9175 A): Standard setup of 36 slides with center source
    • Red + 15 slides: Extended setup of 36 slides + 15 slides in the blue for off-center source
    • Blue (7000 A): Blue setup of 24 slides with center source
  • Template: Chosse a template (see template list sumary bellow).
    Note: Each template covers a different wavelenght range
  • Plot Options: Use "Y linear" and "Y log" options to changue the constrast
  • Redshift chosser methods (range from 0 to 6):
    • Type redshift in form
    • Move slider
    • back and forward bottons move z in steps of 0.01 and 0.1
    • Click in the template spectra
