Description Peter Erwin's Python command-line program for searching multiple public telescope archives. It takes the name of an astronomical object -- or a set of coordinates -- and checks the telescope archives to see if they have observations within a user-specified box centered on the object/coordinates.
Version installed Fedora-26: v2.0.2 (Installed in April 2018).
Usage At the command prompt, type :
telarchive <arguments>   (telarchive --help for quick usage help)

telarchive "ngc 7027" 2.0
telarchive --coords="02 27 37.7 -01 09 17" 6.0

Also, a new tool is available to retrieve images from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (Data Release 5):
fetchdss <arguments>   (fetchdss --help for quick usage help)
Upgrade Notes This new version includes fixes to restore access to the Gemini Observatory Archive [*] and SMOKA (Subaru, etc.), and also to restore proper reporting of results from the ESO archive.
