We present ALMA Atacama Compact Array (ACA) 870 μm continuum maps of 28 infrared-bright SDSS quasars with Herschel/SPIRE detections at redshifts 2-4, the largest such sample ever observed with ALMA. The ACA detections are centred on the SDSS coordinates to within 1 ″ for about 80 per cent of the sample. Larger offsets indicate that the far-infrared

On the nature of HD 207331: a new δ Scuti variable
While testing a Strömgren spectrophotometer attached to the 1.5 m telescope at the San Pedro Mártir observatory, Mexico, a number of A-type stars were observed, one of which, HD 207331, presented clear indications of photometric variability. CCD photometric data acquired soon after, confirmed its variability. In order to determine its pulsation

On the nature of the photometric variability of the luminous blue variable P Cygni.
P Cygni is one of the most luminous variable stars in our Galaxy. It is the only luminous blue variable which does not show photometric variability on a scale of 1 - 2m. In this paper a possible interpretation of the small-scale photometric variability of ΔV ≍ 0.2m for this peculiar supergiant is discussed.

On the Orientation of Prehistoric Sardinian Monuments: A Comparative Statistical Approach
On the basis of a recently updated data base of Sardinian Megalithic monuments, we perform two independent statistical analyses on several groups of these structures and confirm the existence of differences between the southern and northern halves of Sardinia, indicating that there seem to be different traditions of orientation in these two parts
