Este proyecto tiene como objetivo fundamental determinar la importancia de la astronomía como parte integrante de la cultura y de la civilización a lo largo de la historia desde el Paleolítico a la actualidad.
The aim of this project is to determine the relevance of astronomy as a component of culture and civilization through history from Paleolithic times to the present day.
Nuestro interés se centra en especial en los pueblos del antiguo ámbito Mediterráneo desde el Atlántico al Oriente Medio, con una dedicación especial a España y a su entorno geográfico inmediato, aunque también se han realizado trabajos puntuales en el ámbito Mesoamericano y en las islas del Pacífico.
Our interest is centred on the people of ancient Mediterranean, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Middle East. Special dedication is devoted to Spain and neighbouring areas. However, some research in Mesoamerica and the islands of the Pacific Ocean is also undertaken.
