My region
Born in Bordeaux (Gironde), south-west of France, I lived more than 20 years in one of the most famous wine region in the world, the Médoc. My home village, Cantenac, is located north of Bordeaux in the outskirts of Margaux, famous for its castle and its delicious wine.
I am currently a Ramon y Cajal fellow (5 yr tenure track position) at the Instituto de Astrofisica de Canarias in La Laguna, Tenerife. My work deals with the search for nearby brown dwarfs in the solar neighbourhood and the study of the mass function in the substellar regime.
