Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias

Pure research activities at the IAC are organised into six subject areas covering most fields within Astrophysics whether theoretical, observational or instrumental.

Individual projects are directed and managed by a "Principal Investigator" (PI). IAC researchers and post-doctoral students work either full-time or part-time on projects, with researchers from other centres encouraged to collaborate.
