Science and Technology Week: Every year, the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) arranges a programme of activities for European Science and Technology Week. This is a European initiative designed to narrow the gap between research work and society in general and to promote science and technology as a means of both improving society and expanding the range of vocational qualifications.
