Census taken with the GTC of the biggest  'nursery' of stars observable from the northern hemisphere

The project, carried out with the OSIRIS camera of the  Gran Telescopio CANARIAS, has undertaken the deepest and most detailed census of the massive supercluster Cygnus OB2, one of the largest and nearest known 'nurseries' of stars

With the participation of the IAC, a total of 64,000 objects have been identified in the study of this region of massive star formation.
