Winter Schools
The IAC organises a Winter School every year.
The next one, XXV Canary Islands Winter School of Astrophysics "Cosmic Magnetic Fields" will be part in Tenerife, at November 11th to 22th, 2013.
Applications invited from: doctoral students and recently qualified Doctors of Astrophysics.
Duration: two weeks.
During the schools, students have the opportunity to:
- receive a comprehensive update on a current subject of great interest in astronomy.
- exchange information with the best Astrophysicists.
- visit the Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos (La Palma) and the Observatorio del Teide (Tenerife).
Publications: lessons from each Winter School are published as a book by Cambridge University Press.
