The Teide Observatory (Tenerife) and the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (La Palma) form the European Northern Observatory. This page provides information about telescopes and instrumentation of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in these observatories. Also included are links to the telescopes in which the IAC, through its support astronomers, provides service. Most of these facilities and instruments are open to the international astrophysical community. The services offered in this website are aimed at astronomer users and include the use and operation of telescopes and instruments, telescope observing schedules, observing time modalities and other usefull astronomic and meteorological utilities.
