The Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias is adapting its institutional website to the WAI 1.0 level AA guidelines of accessibility in accordance with the standards laid down by W3C.

Nevertheless, we shalltry to attend to all requests for the adaptation of previous documents sent to the electronic address wexterna@iac.es, indicating the name of the document and the address of the page in which it appears.

Size of text

Users can generally select the text size in their navigating tool. This option has also been incorporated via an icon at the top right-hand side of some pages.

Page structure

This portal has a common menu, which is to be found at the top and bottom of each page. All the information on the site is accessible through this menu.

The top menu enables us to return to the initial page or to open up a secondary horizontal menu for each section. The paragraphs of each section contains a vertical sub-menu to the left.

Although the menus permit structured navigation throughout the site, the main page offers the following short-cuts:
