Abstract: With extended kinematical data, we explore the tilt of the Fundamental Plane --- commonly interpreted as a relation between mass and mass-to-light ratio for the elliptical galaxies. We show that dynamical non-homology is largely responsible for the tilt of the Fundamental Plane, and that when the non-homology is accounted for, no correlation is found between mass and mass-to-light ratio.
