Welcome!

You've just entered the personal page of Edouard Bernard. Here you can find some information about myself and my work.

I am currently doing a postdoc at the Institute for Astronomy (Edinburgh, UK) in the stellar populations group led by Annette Ferguson. My work concentrates on resolved stellar populations and variable stars in Local Group galaxies.

I am also involved in an international project called LCID (for Local Cosmology from Isolated Dwarfs). The aim of this project is to reconstruct the full star formation history of a sample of isolated galaxies of the Local Group, based on very deep (V=29) images obtained with the ACS camera onboard the Hubble Space Telescope.

For more details, you can find a short Curriculum Vitae here, have a look at the list of publications, or simply contact me.
