CanariCam is being developed in the Infrared Astronomy Group at the University of Florida (UF) in Gainesville. Most of the instrument will be built in the laboratories and workshops at Gainesville, although there is important input into its design from a number of other institutions.
Many, but not all, of the UF CanariCam team members (past and present) are shown below in a picture taken at the CanariCam Preliminary Design Review: (left to right) Glenn Sellar (optics), David Hon (software), Frank Varosi (software), Chris Packham (optics, deputy PI), Robert Pina (systems), Roger Julian (Project Manager), Jeff Julian (thermal/mechanical), Kevin Hanna (electronics), and Charlie Telesco (PI).
The UF team members, including some not shown in the photo above, are:

In addition:
Glenn Sellar and Glenn Bormann of the Florida Space Institute have participated in the optical designChrist Ftaclas at Michigan Technical University (now at the University of Hawaii) is carrying out the coronagraphic design and analysis.
Mark Kidger at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias is carrying out Science team coordination and liason between Spain and the UF. Additionally he has prepared and maintains these Web pages and assorted documentation for the science team.
James Hough at the University of Hertfordshire is participating in all aspects of the polarimetric design
