Description
This image shows comet Q4, discovered in 2001 as a result of the Near Earth Asteroid Tracking program (NEAT). The comet got closest to Earth in May 2004, and in this photograph we can see it in the proximity of the Praesaepe open cluster, M44. Open cluster M67 and dwarf planet Ceres can also be recognized in the image.
