Description
Artistic view of the jet coming from the core of an active galaxy, blazar type, and pointing along the line of sight. Due to this particular orientation of the relativistic jet, the emission is strongly amplified, diluting the contribution of the galaxy where it is housed. Credit: NASA / Goddard Space Flight Center.
