Description
NGC 1068 has been observed at the near infrared bands J, H, K, L. Near infrared scans of NGC 1068 with 20 and 5 arcsec apertures have been used to isolate the nuclear emission. The nuclear near infrared emission can be explained by a combination of dust clouds at different positions and temperatures. The same scans have been used for a tentative detection of the ring in the L band.
