Description
Starmus is a global festival of science communication and art that brings together the most brilliant minds on the planet. The festival is a gathering of top artists and scientists celebrated every two years. The aim of the project is to inspire and educate the next generation of explorers and regenerate the spirit of discovery. Starmus combines art, music, and science to enhance science communication. During the four previous Starmus Festivals, a large number of world-famous musicians, scientists (among them 21 Nobel Laureates), and astronauts have performed and given lectures. Previous guests have included: Neil Armstrong, Stephen Hawking, Alexei Leonov, Brian May, Harold Kroto, Hans Zimmer, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sarah Brightman, Brian Eno, Buzz Aldrin, Kip Thorne, Jean-Michel Jarre, and many other brilliant minds of our times.
