Description
Results are presented from a search for variations in solar granulation properties with heliographic latitudes. Photographs taken in the summers of 1985 and 1986 are used to study the power spectra in the direction perpendicular to the solar radius. It is found that there are no important differences in the power spectra obtained for positions along the equator and those obtained for positions along the rotation axis. It is shown that the size of granules remains constant at different heights of the solar photosphere in both the N-S and the E-W directions.
