Description

The main goal of the project is to establish a “hub” of international excellence in the Macaronesian region, focused on Technological R+D+i, sustainability, ICTs and training, applied to medicine and inclusive with Africa and developing countries.

Specific goals:
1. To achieve skills and carry out R+D+i in the Macaronesian technological "hub", of international excellence and focused on open medical technologies, using advanced ICTs and leveraging existing R&D capacities.    
2. To integrate open medical technology applications into the Macaronesian technological hub, making use of intellectual and industrial property models that facilitate clinical translation and technology transfer to companies.   
3. Specialize the Macaronesian technological "hub" in clinical translation, technology transfer and training of open medical technologies, all with a global purpose, in accordance with the objectives of sustainable development and in an inclusive way with Africa and developing countries

The Project has 31 partners in the Canary Islands, Madeira, Azores, Cape Verde, Mauritania, Senegal, mainland Spain and the USA.
