The main objective of the program is to generate a team of engineers with a high technical training oriented to development of advanced technological products that impact on the market and in a possible commercial exploitation in different sectors of scientific instrumentation.

All this through the hiring of postgraduates, both seniors and juniors, in order to complete their professional training and specialization, by immersion in the projects of technological  research and development, in collaboration with companies of the sector.

With the  budget 2020 IACTEC intends to cover the salary costs of 16 technologists for the projects of Micro-satellites, Medical Technology, Data Processing of Earth Observation, and the creation of two new lines, "Advanced Optical Manufacturing Center" and " Optical Communications in Space ".
