Description

The purpose of this agreement is the financing of the operation, supply and maintenance expenses of the IACTEC building, as the infrastructure in which the astrophysics research activity is currently carried out to enable the development and continuity of the main technological programs of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands, in space technology, optical communications, medical technology, advanced optics manufacturing and cutting-edge projects for the design and manufacturing of large telescopes and advanced astrophysical instrumentation. The agreement has an initial duration of 4 years, coinciding with the annuities 2024 to 2027, each of which will be endowed with €425,000 allocated to the hiring of personnel (administrative head and maintenance technician), and the contracting of services and supplies necessary for the operation of the IACTEC building.
