  • COSMOS-Web: Unraveling the Evolution of Galaxy Size and Related Properties at 2 < z < 10
We measure galaxy sizes from 2 < z < 10 using COSMOS-Web, the largest-area JWST imaging survey to date, covering ∼0.54 deg 2. We analyze the rest-frame optical (∼5000 Å) size evolution and its scaling relation with stellar mass ( R e ∝ M * α ) for star-forming and quiescent galaxies. For star-forming galaxies, the slope α remains approximately 0.20

  • COSMOS-Web: The emergence of the Hubble sequence
Context. The first JWST deep surveys have expanded our understanding of the morphological evolution of galaxies across cosmic time. The improved spatial resolution and near-infrared (NIR) coverage have revealed a population of morphologically evolved galaxies at very early epochs. However, all previous works are based on relatively small samples

  • Cosmology with second- and third-order shear statistics for the Dark Energy Survey: Methods and simulated analysis
We present a new pipeline designed for the robust inference of cosmological parameters using both second- and third-order shear statistics. We build a theoretical model for rapid evaluation of three-point correlations using our FASTNC code and integrate it into the CosmoSIS framework. We measure the two-point functions ξ ± and the full

  • Constraints on dark matter models from the stellar cores observed in ultra-faint dwarf galaxies: Self-interacting dark matter
It has been proposed that the stellar cores observed in ultra-faint dwarf (UFD) galaxies reflect underlying dark matter (DM) cores that cannot be formed by stellar feedback acting on collisionless cold dark matter (CDM) halos. Assuming this claim is correct, we investigate the constraints that arise if such cores are produced by self-interacting

  • Cluster Ages to Reconstruct the Milky Way Assembly (CARMA): II. The age-metallicity relation of Gaia─Sausage─Enceladus globular clusters
We present the age determination of 13 globular clusters that are dynamically associated with the Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus (GSE) merger event, as part of the CARMA project's effort to trace the Milky Way assembly history. We used deep and homogeneous archival Hubble Space Telescope data, and applied isochrone fitting to derive homogeneous age

  • Chronology of our Galaxy from Gaia colour─magnitude diagram fitting (ChronoGal): II. Unveiling the formation and evolution of the kinematically selected thick and thin discs
Context. Investigation of the formation, origin, and evolution of the dichotomy of the Milky Way's thin and thick disc components has been a focal point of research since it is key to understanding the formation of our Galaxy. One difficulty in this pursuit is that the populations defined based on their morphology or kinematics show a mix of
