• The sample of metal rich stars with and without planets has been extended in 2007 and the stellar parameters and metallicities have been obtained. The first study of kinematics of planet host stars has been completed. Our new results confirm the metal rich nature of stars with planets. The observed abundances  in  XTE J1118+480 together with kinematical characteristics allowed us to conclude that the compact object has formed in a supernova explosion. This system has travelled far from its original location and is currently located in the Galactic halo.
