Helmut Dannerbauer will discuss with us recently published results of newly detected protoclusters of galaxies at high redshift. These two results present detections with ALMA and APEX of protoclusters with highly starbursting galaxies, at a very advanced stage of formation. This presents a challenge to current models of the evolution of galaxies in the early Universe, which suggested that this type of very massive clusters needed much more time to evolve.
