The present volume discusses topics associated with the very early universe, primordial nucleosynthesis, big bang nucleosynthesis and light-element abundances, the microwave sky, and the large-scale structure of the universe. Attention is given to the origin of primordial cosmological perturbations, the thermal history of matter, the cosmic quark-hadron phase transition, primary and secondary anisotropies in the microwave sky, and the geometrical and dynamical properties of the universe.
