This project presents the principal conclusions of a long series of infrared and visible observations of blazars taken from 1987-92. The data fall broadly into three classes: spectropolarimetry in the range 4000-9500A of a small sample of selected AGNs; polarimetry of a sample of a dozen blazars and some twenty low polarisation quasars (LPQs)

We report the results of a multisite observing campaign of observations of OJ287 in the visible, near infrared and submillimetric in Winter 1989-90. Simultaneous UBVRIK and white light data were obtained with three telescopes in Tenerife and La Palma on three nights in December-January, supported by follow-up observations in January and March 1990

Full solar disk observations of radial velocity, obtained with the IRIS network of resonant scattering spectrometers, are used to analyze the acoustic p-mode spectrum around the acoustic cut-off frequency.
