The Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands (IAC) makes its multimedia content (images, videos and animations) available to the public, provided that its use has an illustrative non-profit purpose and the corresponding credits are respected.

Within the Multimedia Gallery section you will find sets of images relating to:

  • Scientific results (real images, artistic representations, animations, etc.).
  • Institutional events (meetings, educational activities, etc.).
  • Facilities and instrumentation of the IAC and the Observatorios de Canarias
  • Astrophotography.
  • History of Astrophysics, especially in the Canary Islands.
  • Visitors.
  • Graphic resources for outreach.
